This PayPal Credit Agreement ("Agreement") is a contract between you and PayPal and applies to your use of PayPal Buyer Credit, PayPal Plus Credit Card, and eBay MasterCard ("PayPal Credit"). This Agreement applies to you in addition to the User Agreement, GE Money Bank credit Agreement and other applicable agreements. All capitalized terms shall have the definitions provided in this Agreement, or if a definition is not provided in this Agreement, the definition in the User Agreement shall apply. You must read, agree with and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. We may amend this Agreement at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it. In addition, if the revised version includes a Substantial Change, we will provide you with 30 Days' prior notice of Substantial Change by posting notice on the "Policy Updates" page of our website.
1. PayPal Plus and eBay MasterCard Rewards Program
- 1.1 Eligibility. The PayPal Plus and eBay MasterCard Rewards Program is available to each PayPal Plus Credit Card or eBay MasterCard customer ("Cardholder") whose PayPal credit card Account ("Credit Card Account") is in good standing. Good standing as used in this section means that the Credit Card Account is open has not had more than 2 consecutive past due payments. If the Credit Card Account is not in good standing you will not be eligible to earn Reward points or receive Reward Vouchers.
- 1.2 Earning Rewards Points. You will earn 1 Reward point for every dollar in eligible net purchases (merchandise and/or services purchased minus returns and adjustments) charged to the Credit Card Account. Notwithstanding the forgoing, promotional offerings (unless otherwise stated in the offering), Balance Transfers, Cash Advances, finance charges, and fees do not qualify for Reward points. The amount of Reward Points accrued during a billing period is calculated daily, and is rounded up to the next whole point.
- Using Points: Reward Points will be available for redemption beginning with the first day of the next billing period for your Credit Card Account after the applicable Purchase was made. In some circumstances we may delay making points available for redemption. Only the primary Cardholder may redeem points. Multiple participants may not combine points for redemption purposes. Points do not constitute property of the Cardholder. Reward Points and Reward Vouchers are not transferable or assignable under any circumstances, including (i) upon death, (ii) as part of a domestic relations matter, or (iii) otherwise by operation of law. For redemption, sign on to the PayPal Credit Service Site. All redemptions are final. Cardholders may redeem their points for Reward Vouchers. The use of Reward Vouchers is subject to the terms and conditions printed thereon. You may not request Reward Vouchers if your PayPal Plus or eBay MasterCard Credit Card Account is delinquent. Reward Point credits will not be issued for any unused Reward Vouchers and Reward Vouchers may not be returned or exchanged. Lost or stolen Reward Vouchers will not be replaced. If the PayPal Account that is associated with your PayPal Plus or eBay MasterCard Credit Card is closed, you will not be able to use your Reward Voucher. Available Reward Vouchers and the amount of points required to redeem a particular voucher may be obtained by signing on to the PayPal Credit Servicing Site. Reward Vouchers, points required for redemption and restrictions are subject to change. Reward Vouchers cannot be credited to a PayPal Plus or eBay MasterCard Credit Card or PayPal Account or redeemed for cash. Reward Vouchers must be used by the expiration date and are non-transferable.
- Points Expiration. All accrued Reward Points that have not been converted into a Reward Voucher will expire and be removed from your balance: (1) if you do not make a purchase with your PayPal Credit Card Account for 12 consecutive months; (2) 36 months after the Reward Points were earned; (3) if you are more than 2 consecutive payments past due on your PayPal Plus or eBay MasterCard Credit Card Account; or (4) if your PayPal Plus or eBay MasterCard Credit Card Account is closed for any reason (other than as a result of a lost or stolen card, in which case all accrued points will be applied to the replacement card).
- Termination. Any failure to follow Terms, any abuse of Program privileges, or any misrepresentation of any information furnished by you, may result in the termination of your eligibility in the Program and the cancellation and forfeiture of accrued Reward Points or Program benefits. The PayPal Plus and eBay MasterCard Rewards Program may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice. This means that the accumulation of Reward Points does not entitle you to any vested rights with respect to such points or Program benefits. In accumulating Reward Points, you may not rely on the continued availability of any award or award level, and you may not be able to obtain all offered awards. Any award may be withdrawn or subject to increased Reward Point requirements or new restrictions at any time. Changes to the Program may affect the perceived value of or your ability to use the Reward Points you already have accumulated or result in the forfeiture of accumulated Reward Points.
